Re: >> Vaio Z Windows 7 Bios and driver
The Sony Controllers in the 2nd post... those will work for either 32 or 64 bit installs, correct?

Re: >> Vaio Z Windows 7 Bios and driver
Installed the Sony controllers in the 2nd post on a z550n running 32-bit win7.
FN volume works... but little else.
FN brightness does nothing (though the slider in Window's mobility works in both speed and stamina).
I can't change fan speeds in the Vaio Control Center (my primary goal) and can't turn my CD drive on and off.

Re: >> Vaio Z Windows 7 Bios and driver
You did notice that the entire post is just for 64 bit?
He clearly stated:
"4. These are Windows 7 x64 drivers"

Re: >> Vaio Z Windows 7 Bios and driver
Got everything working fine on mine. Brightness in both modes. But background becomes black after switching STAMINA-POWER or wise-versa. I suspect the video driver is not polished well enough... Anyone experiencing same thing? Thank you, guys.

Re: >> Vaio Z Windows 7 Bios and driver
Hey Firestone, can you also provide a version of the file with all those drivers packed as one single file? Your link has 30 sec wait on every file download.

Yes, the wallpaper disappears (black)...And then I need to restart the system to get it back.

Re: >> Vaio Z Windows 7 Bios and driver
there is a max restrict of 100 mb per file... so there still will be 4 files in all (300+++ mb) ...
if you want, i can try to load it over the weekend for you.
otherwise, you can try to open multi pages and try to download all at the same go, since i have no issues with multi-download at the same time

Re: >> Vaio Z Windows 7 Bios and driver
The whole thing took me less than 15 minutes with all of the built-in delays.
The maximum delay per file was about 45 seconds, the lowest about 10.
No big deal at all to grab them all.
