Default TZ - how to fullscreen in game mode?

Hey guys, got a question. I'm playing warcraft III on my tz 250 and I can't make it full screen, is there any way to do this? I tried all the display option in game and no solution.

What do you mean your game isn't running in full screen? Do you mean its running in a window on your desktop or its running in a small box surrounded by black all over?

When I got my TZ, I had the issue of my older games (Like Fallout 1 and 2) running in a small box in the center of the screen surrounded by black on all sides. My games were 640x480 and were running natively, which explains them running in a small box like that.

In my XP install at least, I went to Control Panel, to the Intel GMA graphics option, went to Display Settings, Aspect Ratio Options, and changed it from "Center Desktop" to "Maintain Aspect Ratio" so my 640x480 games run stretched to 1024x768 now with bars on the left and right. I could also select "Full Screen (No Border)" instead where they will run at the full 1366x768 resolution but of course look very stretched out and ugly due to them being 4:3 games stretched out to 16:9.

Glad to see it worked. I had the same issue as you before.

Forums can many times be much better than the official tech support.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I'm having the same problem here on my TZ. i'm running xp on it using sony's xp downgrade recovery cds, and when I go to the intel GMA graphics option under display settings, there's no option for "aspect ratio."

Can anyone advise how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance.

go to the registry editor: execute "regedit"

    there, go to:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III\Video

then alter the values of "resheight" and "reswidth", those two are the resolution values. be sure to use "decimal" when changing.

so for example (for 1366x768): resheight has to been set to 768 in decimal, while reswidth has to been set to 1366 in decimal.

the game will now run in the native solution, yet it has no widescreen features, you can't prevent a slight horizontal distortion.
