Highly doubtful and not really pertinent to this thread about VT. You'd be better off starting a separate thread on the topic.

Please don't cross post. You already started a new thread about this. Forum rules are such that this is not allowed.

If it use Phoenix BIOS, go to my BIOS MOD request thread & download the PDF file. You can find the exact address/location to enable AHCI by following the instruction.

Howdy, new to the forum, I'm here for the same reason as everyone else.
As you can see by my choice of member name what platform I'm operating on.
Just wondering if anyone else in the world bought this machine except for me?
I am studying network management with the Navy and am a bit of a geek but not really an engineer.
Very interested in Virtualization for reasons of training on multiple OS's as well as developing testing environments without too much extra hardware.

I'm going to use the recommendations made for the other FZ's near mine in model number to attempt the enabling of VT.

Am successfully booting from a flash drive. Attempted to dump the VRAM once with the command "symcmos -v2 -|Default.txt". Unsuccessful.
I think the command should read "symcmos -v2 -lDefault.txt" with an "L" as in list instead of the Pipe character. Will report back.

It is NOT the pipe character. And do not use a similar model, use the EXACT SAME BIOS version as your guide for which register to change. This is very important. The BIOS is what you are changing and it is the BIOS version that matters.
