Knocked my external hard drive once when not in use, and when I went to use it again it was not working. Turned out the drive only separated from the enclosure. So make sure you screw the drive in tightly.

Fishon,
Can you benchmark your esata enclosure? I would like to know how my HDDs compare to yours. Perhaps I can change a setting to speed the writes.Current speedtest.net internet speeds:

You obviously have different settings than I do. Do you cache writes? I am concerned about my writes only.

Re: Official Sony Vaio F Series Owners Thread *Part 6*
If given only those 4 choices, my order of preference would have been the Crucial, the Mushkin, the Corsair and the OCZ.
I always look at price first, then look for the most reliable in each price range. Speed is last because I feel that all of these drives are fast. Kind of like the difference between HDDs when one reads at 90MB/sec and one reads at 85MB/sec. The difference is not great enough to warrant a higher price and the difference is also small enough that I would base my decision on reliability.
Of course, this is only if price is similar. I would not pay considerably more for any of them if they are all the same capacity.
Just my opinion.Current speedtest.net internet speeds:
