I'm still waiting for the price of SSDs to drop. I'm sure they make the CB series fly, but this thing is flying as is. I have the 500GB 7,200 RPM and can't believe how fast this thing wakes up. I'm still impressed by how much faster this is than other laptops I've used and that this is not an enthusiast laptop.

I paid $200 on Amazon (same price on Newegg) for the Crucial c300. Not sure if it was this topic or the CA. I fresh installed Windows 7. I can't get the AMD Catalyst Control center to install again. Any help?

I paid 6,690 baht for my Kingston 128GB SSD which is exactly $223.18 USD.

(I'm a bit concerned about my CB that is still at the post office in Montreal after 3 days according to the tracking. They said 5 to 7 days to get it here but 3 days at the post office in Montreal is a bit long I think)

Hey guys, I received this laptop on Tuesday. I'm trying to play games with it. but it seems like the game wont recognize the graphic card, and I tried to update the driver from Sony esupport, but no matter howmany times i installed it(I used run as adim and in safe mode) it doesn't change the driver version on the video card. Does anyone have any solution to this?

Mine will come in a few days time and I want to get some DVD's for creating a Recovery Disk as soon as it arrives. Please let me know how many disks I need for this and what are the other Initial setup tasks to do.

4 disks needed, and go to Vaio Care.

Have you tried using the Catalyst control center to set it up to use higher performance? I haven't tried it yet, but it seems its having a problem recognizing the Radeon card. I'm noticing it too, but haven't any games to test yet.
