Re: Sony Vaio CB Official Owners' Thread
DxDiag seems to be not recognizing the AMD GPU. But somehow the AMD GPU is the one that is actually working in your system as shown by the CPU-Z screenshots. So I think its more of an issue with Windows DXDiag than a switching issue.
Its clear by the CPU-Z info that the AMD GPU is indeed functioning and the Intel HD3000 IGP is inactive.
Bipin, disable the Intel HD3000 in Device Manager and then try running Angry Birds Rio under high performance.SONY VAIO F217HG/BI | i7 2820QM | 8GB RAM |1920x1080 FULL HD 3D 240fps OCB LCD | Nvidia GT 540M | Bluray writer | OCZ Vertex 3 240GB | BR-250 3D Glasses | 2 TB External WD HDD |

Re: Sony Vaio CB Official Owners' Thread
Hmm. That means you DO have an issue with the graphics switching

Re: Sony Vaio CB Official Owners' Thread
I don't have much idea about how this whole graphics "switching" works but what if you guys revert to an AMD only setup ? By completely getting rid of the Intel IGP and graphics switching ? Did anyone try that ? Remove all the Intel HD 3000 Graphics drivers and then disable it and remove the Graphics switching software and only install AMD Catalyst basic drivers.
