    Thanks benny90. Two more

    Disk SATA is SATA3 (6GBps)?
Also According to this photo (https://picasaweb.google.com/1175582...72811268558450) the Rev. is B2. I thought B3 were the fixed ones or not?

If you would've read the whole thread (ok it's starting to get a bit large :P), or the other threads, you would've known that the new B3 batch isn't identified correctly in those programmes. And yes, it has a sata3 connection.

DPD doesn't deliver on Saturdays I guess?

Looking at importing, and anything I can do later will help reduce the tax to get it over.
It should be pretty ready to upgrade the ram, just find the right ram and plug in. The original 4 gb is soldered into the mb so it would be difficult to change that. where you importing from?

Quick question for anyone who has purchased the slice battery....

On the CTO the choice is only for the regular battery or the slice battery. When you choose the slice battery, does the laptop come with both? (14 hours of battery life), or does it come with only the slice (7 hours of battery life) with no regular battery?

    Thanks

they wouldnt ship a laptop without the internal battery intact, yes the battery is internal, you need to go under the hood to take it out

The reason I'm asking is below:

    Dear [redacted],

With this customisable model, we can offer you one or the other. While we have yet to introduce a replacement battery online at Sony Canada | Sony VAIO Computers | Reader Digital eBooks | BRAVIA LCD TV | Digital SLR Cameras | Cyber-shot Digital Cameras | Blu-ray Disc | Handycam Camcorders as of yet, you may be able to locate one by phone at one of our authorised Sony dealers (see below) but we urge you to confirm this when them before making your purchase as our custom-built models are final sale only.

    MTC (Manufacturing & Technology Centre)
    4 Canon Court, Whitby, ON, L1N 5V8

With regards to the $200 promotion that you’re referring to (SPRING200), we have just extended it until the end of April. Because it’s such a new model the new custom-built SB laptop is compatible with this promotion but the minimum order total before taxes must be $2000.

Please call us toll-free at 1-888-289-7669 for further assistance.

Thank you for your inquiry and support of Sony products!

    Regards,

    Sony Style

    Subject: Sony SB190s CTO

    Hi there,

For the Sony SB190s CTO Laptop, is it possible to get both the Large Capacity Sheet Battery and Standard Capacity Battery? Also, I have tried using the Spring200 coupon you advertised ending April 30th, 2011 for $200 off of all CTO laptops. It is not working, and has since been removed from your website. Why might this be? I am interested in this laptop, but the coupon is a deal breaker for me. Since you did advertise this coupon before, you should honor it right?

I look forward to your response
Clearly sony reps have no idea what they are talking about...

And according to the gaming figures posted here, the 6630m is 20-30% ahead of the 5650m.

You could also try to get the new 3830tg, it should be available indonesia. And the gt 540m is still slower than the 6630m
GT 540M is faster than the 6630M since 6630M is slower than the 5650 and 6550 that was in the . Only downside is the possible higher temp of the nvidia vs ATI and lacking linux compatibility.
