Re: Official Sony VAIO F Series Owners lounge
Ok, so are we thinking this 'Premium Black' is different or cooler than the Black here in the states, or rather on SonyStyle.com ??

Re: Official Sony VAIO F Series Owners lounge
I'd like to ask your help on the following.
I've been narrowing down my options on a new laptop, which most intensive tasks will be CAD and rendering.
Since the Vaio F11 with i7 720 is quite new, I've not been able to find benchmark results of CineBench r10 on the F11 system.
Would someone be kind enough to download (from Maxon or Guru3D) and run it on your F11 (i7 720QM/GT330M).
It's a 52Mb download, nothing has to be installed; just run the propper .exe (for x86 or x64). The test consists of 3 parts: singlecore, multicore and OpenGL. Please repport all 3 values.
Thanks in advance!
btw: my inspiron 9300 (Pentium(R) M @ 1.86GHz | MOBILITY RADEON X300 |1 Gb RAM 266Mhz | WINDOWS 32 BIT 5.1.2600 got me these lousy scores (time for sth new!):

render 1 cpu: 1425
render x cpu: ---
Open GL standard: 960Last edited by guapper; 29th January 2010 at 03:33 PM. Reason: added screenshot

Re: Official Sony VAIO F Series Owners lounge
This is the Premium Black laptop https://www.sonystyle.dk/SonyStyle/V...CF11Z1E/BI.EC1
Here are some pictures

This image is with lowest setting for brightness

And this is with max setting, and it gets realy bright ;-)

When im just surfing the net, it's quiet, but starting up World of Warcraft it get kinda loud, but i was expeting that, so no problem with me.
The keyboard is not backlit in Denmark, and there some flex, but not much, you can make it go down 1mm or so if you type very hard, but with normal use i dont see any flex, and it feels good to type on.
The screen is amazing, and much better than the then Dell 2007WFP hat i'm used too. Its very sharp and have so much more details in colors. I have ordered the spyder 3 express and will get it on monday/tuesday and will post some before and after pictures.
edit: had a wrong link for the bright picture. And my camera is kinda broke and do not take the best pictures anymore, will get a new one soonLast edited by Thun77; 29th January 2010 at 04:01 PM.

Re: Official Sony VAIO F Series Owners lounge
Can you post a picture in front of the screen so we can see the screen at it's best?
