Re: Official VAIO FW Series Owners Thread
I use a white Logitech V470 bluetooth mouse every day, and it never disconnects. But when the batteries become weak, it has some errors like those you described, until it some day breaks down finally.
So maybe batteries on your gear are weak, too, because you don't use it often enough.

Re: Official VAIO FW Series Owners Thread
Concur on the battery issue - had a Logitech mouse for a while - by the time the software recognized the batteries were low in most cases it stopped working or stuttered badly. Would do sometimes when gamed also.
Switched back to the regular wired mouse - easier to travel with.

Re: Official VAIO FW Series Owners Thread
thanks guys for the feedback.
Iv made sure to replace them both with new good batteries..i havnt seen any differance..still at random times even with brand new batteries they still can dis-connect.
ive bought a Logitech mouse once for my desktop a few years back..but had major issues with it..as the mouse button would start clicking on it on..lol
i guess im alittle worried to try Logitech again...Ive never tried microsoft's keyboards/mouses b4...maybe i could give them a shot..
Ill def look into more.
P.S. hahahaha as i was typing this msg..midway thourgh the keyboard dis-connected for 30 secs... lolSONY VAIO VGN-FW47GY-H

Re: Official VAIO FW Series Owners Thread
Have you checked Sony for any driver updates (also same for the software that controls the keyboard/mouse).

Re: Official VAIO FW Series Owners Thread
Same when Googled to try to find some details. Appears your model does not have any updates either to the initial Bluetooth driver.
Sorry no other updates/insights.

Re: Official VAIO FW Series Owners Thread
Damn you, Sony and AMD!
I think I found out what was the problem I was having with some games. When I updated the video drivers to 10.11 (from AMD's website, I still don't know why this one installs and the others don't). But since then other games don't launch (Revenge of the Titans, Aquaria, Bit.Trip BEAT etc.). Today I found out that all of them rely on OpenGL, as well as VirtualBox (for 3D acceleration on virtual machines).
The truth is: with AMD's 10.11, DirectX games run fine, but OpenGL is stuck at v1.1. With Sony's original driver, I have problems with DirectX, but OpenGL is v3.3!
I'm downloading AMD's 11.3 to check if it works. And please don't tell me to use Mobility Modder.NET, it does squat here.
