Found vgp-bc1 on e-bay but seller said wouldn't work on SZ battery - just the S line. Tried two e-mails on this to sony but no reply on one and sent the AC/Charger part # to me which is SAME part # provided with the VGN-SZ750n/c (vgp-ac19v25.) Not the solution I want!

If anyone has clue or lead on approprate charger, would appreciate info.

    Regards,
    Tom T

Guys, the ones that have docking station with their SZ model.

What is the max resolution and frequency that can be used via DVI port?

i recently bought VAIO SZ750 N/C but due to a build problem i had to change it with a new one at the store. . . this one is absolutly great and i like it very much everything is just fine except the fan!

even when CPU tempreture is around 20-25 (right after boot) i can hear the fan . . . fan noise is very soft but in a quiet room it drives me crazy!the first one's fan wasnt running all the time but this one does!

any ideas? are all SZ7 series like this?

    please help . . .

I don't have any fan issues with my SZ7/C. If i put my ear to my laptop i can hear something as you would expect. In fact i have only heard my fan come on once so far in stamina mode since i have owned this laptop since April. I use stamina mode all the time and i run my computer in power saver mode on AC power nearly all the time.
Even high performance mode should not kick of all the fans all the time as you describe.

How many processes are you running what start up mode is your computer in? You can use the system configuration tool to find this out.
Sony TT SU9600, White, 256GB SSD, 8GB DDR 3,Gobi WWAN EU, 5300, HDMI, Bluray
    Sony SZ71WN/C- 4GB, 128GB SSD,
Samsung Galaxy 8.9 16GB 3G ICS, White tablet.

first of all i want to thank you for your quick responses, well i thought it maybe os related problem(it somehow was the case with an HP laptop) so i recovered it to factory settings today but i realized that the fan is the same. and also due to a new recovery i havent uninstalled all the unwanted softwares so i have 85 running processes.

i tried undervolting and underclockeng yesterday to lower power consumption and heat but it also didnt help still i could hear the fan even though i under****ed it to the lowest possible with RMClock . . . . . . . so im out of ideas and am very sensitive to noise so any help will be priceless for me since i really really like everything about this laptop and chose it over SR and Z . . . . .
