Default MyDigitalSSD 64GB Class 10 UHS-1 SDXC Card

    Amazon.com: MyDigitalSSD 64GB Class 10 UHS-1 SDXC Card w/ HD Video Recording - MDSDXC-64-CL10: Electronics

Does anyone have any experience using these MyDigitalSSD SD Cards? I'm about to buy a D7000 and I need two SD cards for the camera.

I would invite you to look at this thread to see how MyDigitalSSD has dealt with problems.

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/soli...rmance-17.html

They sold a terrible mSata HDD to customers, and kept selling after they knew it stunk, and have been promising a firmware update since March that is still MIA. I know I will never buy another product from them again.

I know in my case that trying to save a few dollars and buying a MyDigitalSSD product was a huge mistake, and I would have been much better off paying a bit more to purchase from a premium company.

    Just my two cents.

I've almost always bought SanDisk simply because they're cheap. Never had any issues in phones/tablets.

Mick, we have never had any issue on those SDXC cards. Also the issue regarding the 64GB mSATA only effected about 3% of the total shipped. I would also like to add that anyone that wants to return theirs may do so and everyone on that thread knows that. Every other product we have sold has a .03% defect rate or better. I am working with a lot more than just MyDigitalSSD 64GB users on that thread as well. We plan to help out anyone that bought any Phison S5 based SSDwith 24nm flash from any manufacturer who have all BTW completely ignored these people.

We are working hard to right this error these people are having and soon Phison will come out on top here. They are a stand up controller manufacturer and Kodak uses them for SD and SDXC cards amongst many other large brand names.

The SDXC card will never give you the slightest of issue and you will save a bunch of money on a fast and reliable product.

Why MyDigitalSSD? Low Cost, Highly Reliable, and 10-40x faster than an HDD.

I think the issue is more about the way you (or your company) have dealt with the people who purchased your "bullet proof" drive. You have been stringing people along since March promising a firmware update to fix the problems. Recently you gave us a hard date of July 24 for the fabled firmware, and then went MIA until Aug 2, simply returning and saying the firmware was not ready. To me this is not a company I would purchase from again personally and I was simply explaining my experience. The grief I have had trying to use the mydigitalssd msata drive has soured me on the whole range of products.

Sorry Mick, I assure you I am staying on top of Phison on that subject. I did get the reason it has to do with power management but they are nearly done with beta testing on the revision to fix that power management issue.

Fingers crossed the stress of that one and only issue we have had will be over soon.
