I would just like to report that I did get a 128 gb crucial m4 msata and I am loving it so far. Everything seems to be working well and amazingly it doesn't seem to drop off in performance 2 hours after a reinstall. knock on wood... As of now I would highly recomend the crucial m4 msata's. Here is my benchmark results; the left is the type of results I was getting with the Mydigitalssd and the right is what i am getting now:

Looks like I'm going to try to get a refund (I don't know if that's possible, but I can hope!) for my Bulletproof and pay about the same for an M4 mSATA drive and the mSATA to micro SATA adapter.

Yes, Crucial M4 is a very good mSATA SSD, perhaps one of the best available. These are my benchmarks on SATA II:

Also, I was playing with different drivers and rolled back to the generic MS driver for AHCI controller yet still use Intel RST services. This combination gives me about 20% performance increase.

Waiting for an update on when they feel they may be ready to release this FW. More BP3 product should start flowing soon 5-7 days and at new pricing.

Sorry I did not have better news for you guys.

So what is the procedure for getting a refund on this thing. Not interested in exchanging for any other Mydigitalssd product.

Call your vendor and ask them to get you a refund or grab a BP3 they are better than the Crucial all the new stock has the new FW on it so they are blazing fast. They are in stock right now at our U.S. retailer. 64GB 128GB and 256GB just landed yesterday with a new low price. Also I would be willing to bet any day now Phison will come through with a FW to fix your issues and make your BP drive perform like the BP3 and Crucial m4.

From this thread on Feb 23:

I am very confident that Phison will be able to figure this out and give us some good info soon. I am thinking another week at the absolute most.

Mick at that time Phison had to put this on the back burner because of how hard they were working on the S8 controller. We have been forthcoming with this info.

Guys try microscope utilities 2005 's level feature, its located under section 4 in the batch section. Look around you will find it.
It works much differently then apps like CCLeaner and similar apps do.
The utility can be found on the hawk-pe 43 ISO.
Worked wonders for me. The when you re-format leave about 4-8 gigs unformated unpartitioned space free and use the LPM registry fixes.

All this combined with the latest firmware didn't quite put the hammer down but it did help.

    By the way
I just sent my phison 3105 controller based SSD in for a RMA, after 4 Sandforce based drives failing on me and now this. well.... im hopping the 6th times a charm.

ps: word of warning sector leveling will destroy all data on the drive.

mydigital, have you tested the smart series with the sandforce 5.03 FW? If so, how is it performance or reliability wise? I was told that I could purchase it with this update instead of the shipped 5.02 but wanted to learn about it a little before I pull the trigger.
