    Oh come on!

I never touched the RST driver and it's still failing!

It BSOD'ed once, then I used the patch...but that didn't seem to do anything!

That's it, I'm formatting/erasing the drive and returning it.

It could be because of your amd chipset as you mentioned before, but my laptop is quite similar to mrmysterious' and that makes me wary.

Btw, you should look for BSOD log to Windows/Minidump/, ....log will show which driver (exactly what file) is causing BSOD...

How to view BSOD error log:

PS: or you can upload BSOD log, I will look on it

Sorry, man...It's wayyy too late now. I'm done with this particular SSD.

I'm going to try Crucial again in a few months.

It would be good to know whats causing the crash, which file...It not have to be just because its SSD. I had BSOD many times caused of problems with incompatibility of some software....My Internet download manager didnt like Firefox, it caused BSOD,...or problem with grafic drivers cause BSOD too...mayby just some SW in your PC dont like SSD

Anyway, log from Windows/Minidump/ could answer posible solution or reason of BSOD problem and it will be very useful for others going to buy same SSD (like me),

And... mainly helpful for owners of this SSD with same problems. I solved BSOD problem on fathers PC 2 weeks ago, you can be next....only if you want ....just upload BSOD log, nothing more, nothing less

...that log could be key of solution for this forum thread...

Well I would have done that if I could. It's already formatted and erased now.

    ..only if you want ..
Just clean install Windows 7, It should take 410seconds right? Then wait for BSOD,...after BSOD, look to Windows/Minidump/ and upload the log somewhere...it would be solution for more people here, and I will also post it on Crucial forum where someone has same problem.....

    nobody reads BSOD logs...sad
