INTEL X25-M SATA2 SSD 160GB 2.5" + SSD Toolbox
Hi
I need some advice.
I just upgraded my old hard drive to a new INTEL X25-M SATA2 SSD 160GB 2.5" RETAIL (SSDSA2MH160G2R5). It's the new G2 drive, 34nm.
My question: should I install Intel SSD toolbox or not? Do I REALLY need it, or is it just for showing me some numbers etc. If it has no practical benefit then I would rather not to install it. I'd like to keep my OS as clean as possible.
I'm using Windows XP Home SP3.
Thank you in advance.

Definitely. The Toolbox has a manual TRIMing tool. Windows7 does TRIM automatically, but not Vista or XP.
