ah, you are correct. RAID also needs the SE as there is no way to TRIM a RAIDed SSD

I wish the 1200 Series SandForce drives delivered this kind of write performance:

Too bad we have to wait for another 6 months or so to see this tech...

Can you elaborate? What all did you do? What are your benches? Kinda need something to go on. I'm assuming this is the HP 8540w? Did you tryin running Crystal Disk Mark while iTunes ran playing a song in the back ground? Or something to put a light load on the CPU? Maybe try the bench running wPrime with a single thread at the same time. Seems to show a boost in performance for me when I load the CPU by running wPrime 1024 single thread for me.

i understand about wprime but having to do this is crazy because basically it shows that when needed , the full cpu perf is not availlable on regular ssd use ....
for the tweaks i was on it 2 dayz ....

didi all teh maintance tweaks , installed the intel drivers and utilitys 'ssd tools , maintance center ) preftech ....disbaled, defrag disable , max perf power scheme ......i mean the list is long .....the only bost i have on 4k is when i do the jdd tweaks....

one more things ,i'm trying now to manage partitions and since theyweaks i have a error message wxhen i try to use resize parttions on windows disk manager ....is anybody is the defrag disbaling in services is the cause ?
