Default Can't add or change Avatar picture

For some reason I'm unable to change my Avatar picture or add a new one, I ended up deleting the one I was using to see if it would help and it didn't, everything else such as the signature is changeable but when I attempt to change the avatar picture it just gives me a Bulletin notice saying Invalid File, no matter which picture I use.

Probably the image you are trying to upload is too large.
Try with a 100px x 100px image and see if it works.

Ok, i'm going to have to forward this to one our admins , IRIS.

One last question though, have you tried using an external image link instead of uploading?

I just uploaded a picture to imgur and tried to change my avatar and it just stated (vBulletin) Invalid File. This was the link: http://i.imgur.com/UvUqe.png.

I also tried changing the profile picture and the Exact same message comes up.

And thank you for the further help.

It's a server-side problem that we have to have the administrators fix. Nothing wrong with your account specifically but I do not think anyone is going to be able to add/change their avatar until this is fixed.

I think you should try toning the size of that image a little, 20.5kb believe it or not still exceeds the forum avatar size limit hence why you're not able to upload. From what I've found out the general sweet spot is 18.4kb or lower, anymore and the forum will flat out rejects it.

I've upped the file size a bit. It was 25,000 bytes = 24.4k, and I upped it to exactly 25k.

Senior members were actually set to 20,000 bytes so I upped them to the same amount.

As Greg said, let us take a look at what's happening on the server side. Avatars are not the only thing we're having trouble with at the moment.

I've tried uploading ones that were in the 10~12kb range and they won't work as well, I dont think its the pixel size or the size of the file itself because they all meet the requirements are more.
