Close my account.
I would like to request that my account be closed. I wanted to PM a moderator but apparently my account does not have private messaging privileges. Could a moderator please close my account? Thank you

Re: Close my account.
Thats BS.
Its our own personal information and it should be our right to cancel, or close account. There should be something under user account, a link, to do this but there isnt. Theres nothing at all about this, not even in the FAQ.
What kind of sheit forum is this. How do I get in contact with admin??!
I too want my account closed and my info deleated from the database.

Re: Close my account.
As I understand, anything you say here is property of the forum with your permission, or something like that. I don't know if you can cancel your account, but you can edit your posts (there's only 4 of them, I see) and replace the info with something else that removes any link to you...

Re: Close my account.
Sorry to disappoint you Jay K but we do not just delete/remove accounts. For one, the information posted on this board is the property of TechTarget the moment you send it to their servers. You agreed to this when you created your account. For two, we literally cannot edit the database to remove a single user without severely damaging the database. I'm sure the admins will be more than welcome to bend over backwards to accommodate your demands since you have already admitted you have no wish to contribute to the forum. If you really do not want to visit this 'sheit' site consider yourself banned, change any user information you wish, and move on with life.
To the OP, sorry but the best thing I can suggest is to change your password, forget your password, and move on with life. Outside of banning someone like Jay K there isn't really anything to close.
