Default View 50 posts per page.

What happened to this setting? I used to have it set on that, so I had only to scroll down and I could see tons of posts at the same time.
    The limit now is 30.

    Has this setting been removed?

I'm guessing they are trying to free up some server load. Loading 30 posts=>less traffic than loading 50 posts.

I had it too set for 50 post per pages, but I was tweaking some configurations under my usercp, and I saw it was set to "forum default setting" so I tried to change it back to 50 posts per page, but the limit now is 30? And there is a 5 post per page setting too?

I guess the admins continue to disable features to reduce the load on the forum software or server or whatever...
This has been going on for awhile now and you're still surprised when a forum feature suddenly become unavailable?

hey guys, ATG is correct, allowing more posts per page means more stress on the server so we had to reduce that. And he's also correct in saying that you can probably answer any questions in the future with the answer "to improve server performance". But never hurts to ask!

Ok. Thanks for the reply. I am going to miss those LOOOONG pages filled with posts.

I want 50 posts per page. (In fact, what I really want is 100.)

EDIT: Of course, I've read the reason why NBR doesn't have this so I don't expect an explanation or anything. I hope it's still okay that I add my "+1" to the original request.
