Some posters seem to accumlate their rep in the off topic forum whereas some people have much less rep who post mainly in the support forums.

I would be the latter. Going into the off-topic area is a no-no for me since I can be pretty confrontational and an asshat at times. Thus the reason I avoid that area.

The Next person who asks for +rep is being neg-repped by the entire mod team. I am sick of seeing people post that.

Just a clarification if anyone is wondering, yes, negative reputation is still enabled for moderators . I for one haven't used it in at least a year...

I have never used it at all. But there were plenty of times I should have. I may not be so nice in the future though.
