Why don't you just help someone in one of the other forums?

There are often lots of lurkers in a forum. People might have a request, information, OT help, etc that might prompt them to register so they can PM that person. It just makes more sense to implement better anti-spambot technology rather than cripple real users.

after 5 post the option becomes available? is it in the drop down menu of the person name or something?
