Default Internet Explorer Keeps loading Page

It seems that the advertisement at the top of every page is causing my internet explorer to not finish loading the page. I have a white box displayed right beneath the NotebookReview.com blue bar.

What kind of advertisement is it? I have flash and shockwave installed and have tested both, they both work.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I like summer. I sit back, relax take the phone off the hook and enjoy a nice cold beer. Then when i get home from work I also enjoy a dip in the pool.

I stopped using the default NBR style because of the glitchy ads. I set mine to vBulletin default style and had no problems since. (in the drop down list in the bottom left hand corner of each page). It does loose some of the features on the left hand side of the screen though (recent laptop reviews, recent laptop discussions etc).

Works so much better now. Thanks. By the way, I am using IE7. Seems like there was a glitchy ad that kept trying to load, but couldn't.

It's some Google Ads that have problems loading intermittently, we've looked into it before but couldn't resolve it. Sorry for the annoyance, kind of hoping it fixes itself eventually

If it is a Google ad then we definitely cannot control that!

WOW, I didn't realize that. And I didn't realize that it gets rid of the Ads. I was using AdBlockPro. The vBulletin style is much better.

I've been using the vBulletin style for a year now. I could never go back to the ad-filled one.
