i think people need to be aware that its just a graphics for now.... when the real pics come out it may look better or it may look worse... here is an example for when the new Subaru Sti was being released:

looks cool on paper... but in real life looks like crap

I'm pretty sure SRD meant he wishes it was made of metal and that'd make it better to him, though I'm not defending him saying AW was a horrible company out of the blue, that was a little randomly harsh. I'm just saying I think you may be taking what he meant the wrong way, Duke.

Not that he doesn't like how he looks, just he would like it a lot better if it was metal rather than plastic.

Looks better than the design now, but it's not all that different. Alienware cases don't feel cheap, but they are plastic. It's a case to hold your PC components. It doesn't really matter how it "feels". You set it down and boot up. You aren't typing on it or carrying it around like a notebook. I'd love to own some Alienware cases because a morons on eBay pay huge money for them.

Thanks for the link, I ventured onto their website after getting the newsletter last night. I think they look fantastic, a nice upgrade to the previous design, which ages quite well in my opinion.

i like how the keep the previous case style around too.. just in case you still have a passion for the old style (which i do)...

im considering buying a low end 3550 just for the case... then sell the parts and build my own rig...

oh!!!

Here's a shot of the side panel... no more wire going to the mother board to unplug every time you open it up... It's powered by two chips that, when touch the fan/lights are powered on...

With all these Alienwares you keep saying youwant, you must be a fricken millionaire or something.

I like the new case design. Don't know if I like it better than the old one. The only thing I think is stupid is how they're promoting how it's "new adn compact". That thing maybe an inch or two shorter, but it's the LONGEST **** tower I've ever seen.
