I think I upgraded the power supply in my case but i don't remember the brand and i'm not home.

It's not cutting edge, but it gets me 80+ avg FPS in FEAR.
I tend to upgrade as I go, instead of buying a whole new machine.

My Ultra's been treating me good so far. I remember it got great reviews before I bought it. I've had it for about a year and a half, so far no problems. I'm a bit vain about the look of my computer, so I was thrilled to find a quality PSU that has nice pre-sleeved cables that don't look hideous in a window. The alternative to that would be insane cable managment like my friend does (he basically rebuilt his power supply so that each cable is the precise length he wants it to be). I also love the modularity of it -- no need for a knot of tied-back unused cables anymore. I think you'd be happy with an X2, especially if your case has a window.

I went for the non-traditional mobile processor on the desktop route:

CPU: Celeron M 360J Dothan 1.4Ghz @ 2.38Ghz
Heatsink/Fan: CT-479 adapter & heatsink
MotherBoard: Asus P4P800-VM
Memory: 2 Gig (2x1Gig) ST DDR3200 2.5cas
Hard Drive: Maxtor DiamondMax10 300GB SATA II 7200rpm 16MB
Graphics: TBA
5.25": Liteon SHM165H6S DVD-DL
3.5": Multimedia card reader
Speakers: Ge 2.1
Monitor: Viewsonic VX2025 20.1" Widescreen LCD
Case: Aspire QPack Black/Silver
Keyboard: Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard
Mouse: Microsoft Wireless Laser 9000

I've spent about $490 on the computer with an additional $330 on the monitor. I'll probably pick up a 7800GS for it or maybe even an X800XT AIW. I still haven't decided since I also have another QPack case to fill...

Ultra X Connects have been found to have stability issues in some cases.
