What do you need to know or see?
The crack is limited to the LCD it self,
The crack does NOT extend out any further into the screen.
It is not a spider web type of crack that would get worse over time.

Also i just noticed that the info window within Vista shows HP 2710p
That was because i used my 2710p tablet drive image rather than
starting from scratch with a fresh Vista 64 install when i received it.
That has since been changed to read HP 2510p

A little history on the laptop:
Just a couple of months ago i had the opportunity to purchase some HP laptops from the service center/supplier of a world-wide known company corporate based here in Minnesota.
I purchased several models, my intent was to replace the LCD yet never have taken the time. Meanwhile my wife works for the state and was given a job to learn a new software package and then teach others within the department, rather than install this software onto her home desktop she asked if she could use the 2510p to be mobile, she liked the laptop so much she wanted one of her own with a larger screen. So i went out and purchased a second HP 6930p to match that of mine.

Therefore i am selling the 2510p for what i have into it.

Looking at the spec sheet he has listed it has (1) memory module, with (1) 2 GB stick in there now. If the chipset can handle the 4GB it would be really expensive to upgrade.

I cannot answer if 4GB support is included or added within a firmware update.
If you go into the HP topic area you will find several very long in-depth threads about this 2510p model.
It seems to have a huge following.

Nonetheless, it has 2GB installed and with the unltra low voltage core2 duo works well with Vista 64bit.

You can put 1x4GB module in it as successfully shown here. Only problem is 4GB modules are not cheap.

Given the 3yr warranty on non-refurb units, dual-drive ability (1.8" ZIF + 2.5" SATA/PATA), overclocking ability, +WWAN slot, they represent bargain when compared to netbooks or other SU3500 CULV units.

Just note: single-channel RAM means X3100 graphics is ~65% of a dual-channel setup. Out of the box the 1.8" ZIF HDD is pretty slow, so suggest budget either a 1.8" ZIF SSD (eg: Runcore ProIV ZIF) or 2.5" HDD.

Nice deal. The price is simply very tempting. Wish I have some spare cash to pick this up. Good luck in the sale.
