That does sound about right for a single 4850; thats roughly where the guys over with the MSI GT725 have been reporting (5000-5500) as hitting, as a comparison the 280M gets about 5000-5500 as well

Wonder if its the same issue as it was on the W90 Master/slave driver issue that wont let it run the second card or install properly . i spent a better part of a week trying to figure it out till it boiled down to having both cards flashed as master/master.

What i really need is someone in the know to take a look at the inf from the aw driver and compare it to the 9.7 inf. I found a few guides and its not just as simple as putting the device ID in. There are other entries to be made that I could not get my head around.

If I get a chance later; I'll take a look at the guides and see what I can do; one of the others will probably get there quicker than me though!

Also, are the Hardware ID for both your cards EXACTLY the same? AKA the ID that me and you posted earlier?

Edit: Can you link the guides; I'm probably going out later so if I don't have to search for bits and pieces probably going to be a little easier

Yeah the ID's are identicle. Remember there are four lines for the id as i posted earlier in the thread. Here is the link to what to do http://www.driverheaven.net/driverhe...r-support.html Its about half way down the topic.

Well after some testing its clear that crossfire is not working with these ancient drivers. On a good note though even with one card I can get an average of 13000 on 3dmark 06 and around 5300 for the GPU on vantage. Temps now nicely sitting at around 80 under load.

yeh so thats a big problem, cant mob mod 48XX drivers and the only ones that work are from AW and are so old they are useless

that sucks, basically waiting for AW drivers then, and so the wait begins, considering last week when i called they told me they didnt have drivers for it (at the time put down to any old excuse)

it appears we could be in for a wait

Do you have a qx in your m17? A single 4850 doesnt normally achive 13k.
