Au Dell Latitude Z series

Just checking if anyone has the scoop on the upcoming Dell Latitude Z series laptop?

15in screen
core 2 duo CPU
very thin!
matt screen with webcam
removable battery
facial recognition
Display Port

Some of the basics we saw. Scheduled for release in 2 weeks.
Anyone got more details?

Maybe it's Michael Dell behind the keyboard?

Sounds like a Sony laptop though...

Sure you didn't mishear somebody say "E-Series"? Not aware of any Z-series. If you have a link to what you're asking about that would be most helpful.

Never heard of it, and I haven't heard of any rumors of Dell releasing anything new.

There's a Sony Vaio Z series, are you positive you don't have it confused? The price point is about the price of the Sony Z....

Rebadged Adamo, anyone???
But I think a Z series is highly unlikely, simply because of the Dell naming convention. There was the C series, then the D series, and now the E series. Maybe like an E2xxx? But a Z series? That seems like it would come out of left field, and for Dell, that's not very typical.
Then again, they did name one of their printers "Wasabi", so I guess anything is possible...

It definitely said "Latitude Z" on it. And I believe the model will be called "Z600" for the 15in.
Wish I could place bets with you guys. Just wait 2 weeks and we'll see.
I've got no motivation to make this stuff up. Its a rockin new Latitude Z, you'll see!
