thanks, it is actually work fine in wwlan slot without flashing back BIOS.

my idiotic problem was next: I have wwlan 5530 and WiMAX 5350

have a dream to set them together, no way for me.

I also did soldering of pins 36 and 38 parellel to bouth connectors... no success.

and one minor mistake, if you install Wimax in wwlan slot, yes it will work, but wifi cather no longer working, this is not so important, but!

so I cant find a way how to use 5530 and 5350 on laptop m1330

Note to get the WIFI catcher to work on the M1330XPS you need to download Dell Quicket from a newer model Laptop as I did. Dell_QuickSet_A05_R200494 but it does not end there.
Once you have installed the above Quickset which also supports DELL WWAN 5530 3G card you need to go to Program installed folder for Dell Quickset and copy the Quickset Program folder to your HDD (My Documents lets say) or USB key for later use. This builds is v9.2.13.0.
Now we need to install back our original Dell Quickset in my case v8.2.14.0 Run setup of Dell Quickset and yes over write files if asked.
Now once installed goto and open up Dell Quickset Program folder and have ready the files you have save from before to HDD or USB (v9.2.13.0) in this case and copy over these files (battery.exe, dadkeyb.dll, MobilityCenter.exe, QSResource.dll, WiFiLocator.exe) and only those files from (v9.2.13.0) into the Quickset program folder and when asked to over write files YES.
Now the only files which should still be of an older version are Quickset.exe, Hotkey.exe, and QSUI.exe.

Now run quickset click onto wifi catcher - radio control options and then advance settings now you can tweek your radio settings and Wifi Catcher switch will now work.

Why did I use the work around you may ask, well When I install my Intel 5300 WIRELESS and Dell 5530 WWAN cards it was not seen by the wireless switches.
By just installing Dell Quickset v9.2.13.0 which I got from Dells download page under Studio XPS Laptops that did work BUT the MobilityCenter from this package only had 2 maybe 3 Utilities so thats why I did the above work around from my M1330XPS.

Sorry for my bad English....

Am I right, you solv the problem and get working 5530(WWLAN) and wifi/wimax on x1330?

where wimax card is plased? I do not get the point!

And, shortly, thouse version of quickset from dell which you point is for Vista?
I am using XP, a bit faster and easy :-) imho.

As I realise the main problem for me is missing USB D-D+ lines for WLAN slot in x1330, WWlan slot contains this lines and only becouse of that 5530 is working fine.
I think it shold be possible to connect tvisted wires to wwlan slot as well, but I cant find a right solution.
any help and suggestion are welcome!
