Ca Thinking of getting the dell 2408wfp

Hi i currently have a xps m1210 and external monitor samsung 226bw.

I want to upgrade to the bigger dell 24" anyone here has this combo? hows your experience with it

I heard the 2408wfp has input lag is this true any other issues i should be aware of...i checked cnet reviews but i feel they are some what biased to dell.

Its overly priced but given the brightness(400cd/m2) and available connections I am leaning towards it since its on sale for $549 CAD. $150 off.

Also there is another LCD/monitor samsung t2408hd this has a built in hd tv tuner which I think is great for the price and connections but the brightness(300cd/m2) CDW has this model priced for 549

Which is the best from your experiences?

Get the Dell, I've wanted to get that monitor for a while now.

I love my dell 2408wfp. Colors are a bit too vivid so you might want to look online or eye it yourself to crudely calibrate it. What I do love about it though is that even though it is highly saturated, it's still a really beautiful screen. Input lag is noticeable if you play a lot of sniper, but if you're like me, FPSes is more like spamming the fire button so it won't matter as much.

More importantly, the samsung monitor is a TN model (I actually don't know any samsung non-tn model so i might b wrong), but a tv tuner is not worth it for a low quality screen. fi you want to watch tv, buy a tv.
