| Sager and Clevo Clevo is perhaps not widely known, but their products are re-branded and sold by many known boutique brands. |

Sager has withdrawn the OCZ SSD Hard Drive
Announcement from Sager:
"Please remove the OCZ 128GB SSD drive option from your configurations pages, we have decided to drop the option due to the following reasons.
Number of compatibility issues that causes instability, as well as potential DATA corruptions after following every single recommendations offered by OCZ support team and their support forums.
We received one delay after another from the supplier for our first shipment of testing units and have finally received them last week, and the testing result is just not acceptable.
We are very sorry for the inconveniences we have caused for the users that have been patiently wait for their orders to be shipped.
We want to give our customers the best quality part possible and at this time solid state drives are just not as solid as it sounds, we apologize and hope that customers with pending orders with SSD can revise their orders to one of the many standard HDDs that are being offered, and understands if the customer would like to cancel their pending orders all together.
As you can see here Sager units are not the only one with the issues

Re: Sager has withdrawn the OCZ SSD Hard Drive
Thanks for the info Donald.
Its expected I guess, no new technology is immune to bugs and issues.
Just need to wait for it to mature before buying.

Re: Sager has withdrawn the OCZ SSD Hard Drive
Well, fortunately the delays have kept people from getting shipped bad hardware. It was too early to be going SSD in notebooks anyway; it's just not a good investment at this stage.

Re: Sager has withdrawn the OCZ SSD Hard Drive
I encourage to read some of the posts on the OCZ Forum Donald posted above. People are having quite a few problems with these drives. It is unfortunate, but in the interest of maintaining quality Sager was forced to remove them.

Hi, thanks Donald. I'm kinda glad now my notebook was backordered... Is it possible to have my OCZ drive cancelled for my order and refunded the drive amount, in lieu of another drive?
