Default Re: Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook

I'm getting a new laptop soon and as i want to use it for music creation/recording purposes I was intending on gettin the Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook. However I was interested in the new Sony FW series but I have notice that it has an Express /34 not the /54 that the X-fi needs! Is there anyway around this? Or should I look at other laptops? Dell Studio or HP Dv5t have /54.

If you don't have a /54 slot the card will just not fit. It's as simple as that. Pick the card with the better specs if you're intent on the sound card.

I am looking for some decent sound card to use with my FL Studio, but apparently X-Fi Notebook does not come with aa ASIO driver to be used in various DAWs. Perhaps you (and I) might want to consider some other USB solutions that do come with ASIO drivers.
