Youtube File Hack Tool is a light-weight, small, simple and intelligent program that aims to ease up downloading youtube videos to your hard disk.

For Google Chrome Users:
Just Choose the Format and Click Bookmarks. It's fast! It is based on the previous Google Chrome, FireFox, Safari and Opera Bookmarks Javascript Youtube Downloader Tricks.

For IE:
Just Right-Click the link and Download. That's it!
After the File-Download Dialog Opens, just press CTRL+V to paste the filename.

Summary:

1. The current version adds a Context Menu To Internet Explorer (IE)and makes it possible to download the youtube video easily. Firefox will be supported on the next version.

2. Intelligent Enough to know the youtube link and file name: You don't need to know the format of the link and go to a website to download the video. Also, it will automatically copy the title to clipboard as it's filename. So, when it asks for a filename just press CTRL+V.

3. Optimize by design: The program doesn't stick anything that makes your computer unstable and it doesn't run on a background.

4. Mostly, The most important thing for all the Geeks, there's a link that will teach everybody on how to get the youtube link manually.

5. The main problem that I encountered in several applications, when the program was corrupted due to unknown reasons. It's difficult for a casual user to clean the context menu. In this program there's an option to remove the Right-Click (Context Menu) option in Internet Explorer.

NOTE: If you did not log-off and log-in after opening the program for the first time.
you'll get this IE Security message.

If you want to delete the program, First, UNCLICK the option Context Menu (Right-Click Menu in Internet Explorer)
and delete the folder/files. That's it.

The Design:

By default, the 24.5kb program called YTH-light gets the youtube link and download the video. It is a command line application that was optimize by design, meaning as simple as possible:

1. Get the youtube link

2. Launch the Download Command and terminate the application

It uses any web browser as a downloader (Internet Explorer, Firefox or any) which is more stable. Also, it can be automatically downloaded through any File downloader or Download Accelerator for faster download.

If you want the GUI application, there's an option to choose. So, there are plenty of ways to download the video file.

Tested in Windows Vista and XP

I think they like the program because it doesn't sticks anything

Here is the secret for Flash Video ripping....
Unlocker 1.8.7 (freeware)

Its a small utility that is extremely useful for all things.... which turned out to be good for flash video as well.

It adds an option to the Context Menu (right-click):


So you can right-click on the TMP file that the flash video is hiding on your computer, and choose Unlocker, and copy it to where ever you want as a FLV file. Done.

I think there is no need to release a new version for downloading .mp4 format
Googlesystem already posted a blog on how to download the .MP4 videos easily.

mmm... I didn't know about it.

Anyway Great Experience for me! I have learn so many things about protected mode in IE.

At least mine, works 100% in IE and all standard videos in youtube.

FireFox will be supported later... I'm having some difficulty in adding a context menu for firefox. I'm trying to learn more about javascript.

Is their a need for firefox feature? There are Tons of Firefox add-ons already that can download youtube video.

Ok... Right now I'm trying to figure out how to automatically know if the youtube link has a high-quality video or not. hopefully I will unlock it...

If your a human Being you will see the information and understand it.
But what if you are a computer?

Of course, it cannot be figure out alone by a computer only.

Unless an outside force will tell the computer - I remember Mr Newton told me that.
