There was a guide posed in this forum a few months back which showed how to extract all the apps included in the VAIO SZ recovery discs (UK version).

To save users the trouble of extracting the apps I've uploaded them to Rapidshare. These are ALL the apps untouched. Some are useful, some aren't. The attached image shows the included apps.

These are the apps which were installed on my UK model SZ7. Some of the apps are UK / Europe specific like the 3G WWAN util and drivers.

Oh okay, thank you!

Btw, in your opinion, because I noticed Vista uses a lot of my ram. Should I install 3GB of RAM and just still with x86 or should I try to install a x64 bit Vista onto my laptop with 4GB of RAM

Hello Mujja,

How can I PM you regarding the closed SZ7 thread? I just got an SZ750 and Sony stopped offering the XP disk on June 30.
