What OS are you using?
Windows XP supports only 3.25GB even though that shouldn't make problems of that kind.
Didn't really understand you but I think there are other peolpe on this forum who had similar problems with standby mode and their notebook not being able to wake up.

I found this on asimobile.com:

Notebook Alert! - ASI Model FL9X Series

FL90+, FL90, & FL91

Problem: Notebook won't POST with 2pcs of 2G memory but will POST with 1pc of 2G memory.

Solution: Use 1pc of memory to get POST and update the BIOS from the initial release of 107 to version 110. Boot to BIOS setup, correct the time & date, and set BIOS to default setting. Power off and install the 2nd memory module.

I am not completely sure(please fill me in someone) but I think the JFT and JFL uses the same BIOS, at least that's what I concluded after seeing this site www.bizcom-us.com/support.
Maybe you can try.

Yeah, back when the IFL90 was first released, some people noticed that when they put 4GB of RAM into it, it ceased booting. It was a BIOS problem, and upgrading the BIOS fixed it.

And what about 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) of RAM? Such modules where just released, and it seams that Santa Rosa platform is capable of supporting it, although its far over intels specification for that chipset.

i thinks if use 2 x 4 GB of Ram will be pointless cos windows only support as far as 2 X 2 GB ( 4086 MB ).. I used with windows XP 64 bit and Vista Home Premium 64 Bit.

The options is very simple, just update the bios to version 105A.
BIOS can be found here: http://www.bizcom-us.com/support/JFT...JFT00-105A.zip

Good luck

For more details read the BIOS update story in the BIOS zip folder:

Implemented:
EFI-117 [NashWang] Fix System can not resume from S3 with 4G Ram.
EFI-118 [NashWang] Fix System shows wrong HDD information in setup menu when
set to IDE-combined mode.
EFI-119 [NashWang] Update EC bios "K14A105A.ROM", version is 1.05A.
EFI-120 [NashWang] Rename the BIOS version to 1.05A for BIOS release.
