Sorry for kinda such stupid question, but, can i tweak this procedure to do the same with a NW one? (vgn-nw120aj)

getting the drivers here

Yes this will work for any vista installation on any pc/laptop. You just need the right drivers for your model.

The WIM files were just a away to get a iso direct from MS. If you've got a Vista disc through some other means that'll work with vlite too.
