I decided to get something off of
www.finallyfast.com that advertised that one of their programs could stop your computer from freezing, so I bought it. After doing a scan of my computer, it said that I had over 30 errors, 13 of which were registry errors, so I clicked "Fix it Now" on the program, and it said that the errors were fixed. I'm now waiting to see if it did indeed fix my problem.
If it didn't work, could I just reinstall XP Service Pack 2 without doing all the Sata stuff since XP is already installed on my laptop, or would I have to go through all the crap again? If I could just pop in the XP SP2 disc and have it install it without having to go through the Sata stuff again, that's what I'll do.
