Good looking out These very well could be XP drivers for those models. Inorder to know for sure if the drivers are working and stable someone with one of the listed notebooks will need to try them. The date posted on the drivers is very recent(august) which means acer must be trying to get XP drivers together.

These drivers could potentially help out users who want to use XP on those models instead of vista...

I tried to download and archive in case it gets taken down, but its taking a lot longer than usual. Hopefully those with those laptops will see this thread and rejoice.

Just how can a WLAN driver be so large? 186MB? Are you sure there is nothing fishy about that FTP site?

i can confirm the 5920g drivers work, dont install the web cam driver though, it causes the windows shutdown lock up. Ie when you hit restart or shutdown the machine just stops at the windows shutting down screen

Hi Guys I have downloaded all XP Drivers of 5920G from Acer's FTP site. But, I dont know which driver is for which hardware. Which is the driver for the following hardware?
SATA HDD
Web Cam
Touch Pad
Programmable Keys
Touch Sensitive Keys
USB
I've read one of the post of this thread saying that the webcam driver from ACER's FTP site does not work or has some bugs. If so, does this mean that I cant use my webcam in XP (bad since I wanted to use my webcam for teleconferencing)? Are there any drivers for the 5920G webcam in XP?

Thank you in advance guys
