The ForceWare software allows you to do that. I have the ForceWare software for my desktop (custom built) ... but I'm not sure how the ForceWare app is for the laptop.

Check your spec sheet again. The 1330 has a faster Santa Rosa chipset and the 8400M GS which is about twice as powerful as the 7400 in the 1210.

EspiOne, you should review those specs again.. faster processor??? higher graphic card???
M1210 is an decent looking laptop with good performance which M1330 betters in every possible way. The 1210 is being discontinued btw...

It's thinner and sexier. I touched a few of my friends m1210 and it seemed REALLY bulky... bulkier than my 2 year old Gateway. I was really shocked. Besides the LED LCD (which saves power/weight/thickness), you are right... its almost the same (except for a slightly faster proc/graphics card).... but we're paying a premium for looks.
... and its much cheaper than paying for a Sony. :-)

Re: m1330 ForceWare?
I guess, looks do come into account. I am a gamer and well, I need graphics. Faster CPU, yes, Higher GPU, NO!! (last time I checked, 256MB was higher then 128MB) I kicked myself in 2006 when I should waited on getting my Dell, got a 700m for the size, when I could have waited and got the m1210 for the same price.

well depending on what price point, the entry $900 M1210 do have a better processor(1.83 vs 1.5) and graphics(7400 vs x3100) than the entry $1300 M1330.

Re: m1330 ForceWare?
Everyone will have different uses for their laptops, so a m1330 won't necessarily be "the answer" for you (or any other person in your situation). You never know though, they might come out with a faster graphics card later (once demand eases). If you are looking for value, then you should go with the m1210!

Re: m1330 ForceWare?
yeah definitely depends on the person, for someone like me that don't even think the M1330 looks good/special the M1330 is a very very bad idea.
