Default Best Fanless Cooler?

I'm kind of suspicious of fanless coolers and would like to see what you guys think about 'em. I've really only heard of a few can't remember their names but do these type of coolers really work? If so which one of them do you suppose is best for cooling? I really like the idea of them and would love something fanless that can cool my notebook.

i think the only thing fanless coolers just raise the back of your pc a little bit, to increase the airflow?

There is the Thermaltake iXoft, but I don't know how well it performs.

I looked up the ixoft one and it looks pretty cool, but how well does it perform? I haven't found any reliable sources for perfomance.

From all reviews I've seen, the Thermaltake product performs very well, taking off up to eight degrees.

8 degrees seems impressive for a fanless cooler, true? If so, this is proboly the best fanless cooler out there right?

Ok, so I just read this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=103048

is seems that if I got this it wouldn't work sufficently unless I took it off every so often to let is cool, I like to just leave my computer on 24/7 and I think it would be a pain to keep up with something like that...would it still cool even maybe a little without taking it off every once in a while?

I have a W3J and the air intake is on the bottom. I'm assuming the ixoft and similar fanless cooling products wouldn't work since the air intake would be blocked?
