Ca Buying a netbook

Hello everyone! I'm thinking on buying a netboook. I need a very basic one, but reliable. Any suggestions? Thanks!

General Questions

1) What is your budget?
I'm looking for a cheap netbook but somehow reliable.

2) What size notebook would you prefer?
Netbook; 10” screen or less

3) Where will you buying this notebook? Canada

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
I don't really know about netbook brands so any suggestion is welcome

5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistrubited?
Yes

6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Very basic computer usage. Web browsing and Office.

7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
Both

8) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games or types of games?
No games.

9) How many hours of battery life do you need?
As much as I can get for a moderate price.


Notebook Components

17) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive?
Just a basic DVD reader

i know you say 10" or less, but i'd consider one of the 11.6"-wxga-screen netbooks just for the extra resolution.

check out newegg.ca. the have a coupon code for 10% off everything (MKTBDAY). don't know how long it lasts.

I have a notebook of HCL.It goes well with me.I don't know if in your place it is available or not.But I am quite satisfied with it.

I'm actually looking for something cheaper. I just want it for when I'm too lazy to actually go to where my desktop is (another room). Any other suggestions?
