Okay, not sure why Lithus just posted about the FAQ, since this question is focused specially on the A215. Overall, I'd say the A215 is an average to below average laptop. The performance from it is not that great. The build quality is good for its price though. Based on the review posted here about the A215, it has good audio quality. The laptop is also fairly bulky due to its design even though it weighs a little bit over 6 lbs. The Intel duo blows the AMD out of the water IIRC. Lastly, that ATI card is integrated which means worse performance, but better battery life. Do not get this machine expecting to play many of the upcoming PC games. It simply won't be up to the task. The only reason I'd suggest this laptop is if money is tight. However, if that were the case I'd probably recommend the Dell 1520 or Vostro 1500 over this one If you can, I'd bump up your budget to around 1000 and get a nicer laptop that will last longer. While you might save on a laptop now, it will probably cost you more down the line. Think about getting a bad $650 every 2-3 or a good $1000 laptop that lasts 4-5 or more.
