Turbo is on by default and it can be turned off in the bios. I tried overclocking but there are no bios settings I could find to do it. You can overvolt the ram but my laptop didn't boot up when I tried it.

Sorry bud - looks like you have an issue within your machine.
Hey froogle, what program did you use? did you run the HWMonitor?
If not, tell me the program to check it on my M15X to see if it will still
register like 60degress Celsius which is totally weird, running programs like
IE8,skype and remote connection.
I will also check it with SIW.
last question how to check if stealth mode is on or off?
Thanks for the alarming info..oh man.......

I asked my sister today to open the laptop.
1.)Put to high performance on battery
2.)Opened HWMonitor, initial read varies from 40-43degrees in 3minutes
3.)Ran AVG fast scan mode and temperature goes up to 53degess.

Hi guys.. if there are any of you playing source' games, please let me know which config you are using please..

I play counter strike source, left 4 dead, left 4 dead 2 demo and team fortress 2..

Basically, my settings are the same for these games: 1600, 4x AA, high details and hdr..

Sometimes it's really smooth, sometimes not..

What can cause this ? AA ?

Hey everyone, I would like to ask a question about the latest m15x.
Has anyone encountered the jerky music playback in your m15x through the audio out? Please help me! I am having a serious music playback issues regardless what music player software you are using, itunes, wmp, vlc... The music files seems ok on the other pc.

P.S- By the way, I didn't experience this problem when I was using Vista. Now I am using windows 7. Is there anything to do with the drivers? Apparently I have no problem playing it through the build in speakers. But not with the audio out. Any help is much appreciated.

But um, just check your tracking number and see if any local fedex office received your lappy... if you do, then call them up and ask them if you could pick it up. You will be charged extra $$$ though. Like 15 bucks.
