Well, for starters, PC gamers will be hit with a $10 price increase for no apparent reason. Console games are $60 due to franchise fees associated with MS & Sony. PC has no franchise fees giving no grounds for this increase besides sheer greed.
Secondly, removal of dedicated servers is a huge issue for online PC gaming. IW are launching IW.net (a matchmaking client like consoles) for PCs. No offense to consoles, but PC gamers spend thousands of dollars on their systems, if they wanted a console experience they would just buy the $200 xbox.
But the way of connecting to an online game is not all this changes, it also removes PCs ability to mod and create custom content. Enabling IW to charge for DLC such as map packs and the like, similar to consoles. Which is an insult to PC gamers everywhere.

What this really comes down to is a matter of choice. IWNet eliminates much of the choices and freedom that PC gamers have enjoyed for years, and it's also removing one of the greatest advantages to playing games on a PC in mod support. -Chris Pereira

There is also a
petition that has over 150,000 signatures atm. I'm not saying its gonna be a bad game, I loved CoD4

. I'm just not going to be supporting it, because of what IW/Activision are trying to do to PC gaming.
