By the way... I finally received a tracking number for my own M15X! Hence, it left the "in production" stage when it got from malaysia to the US receiving centre and is now on a freight train (or so i was told) on the way to a Purolator distribution centre where it'll reach a Purolator delivery person at some point! My guess is it'll arrive on Nov 5th or so. I hope it gets here before the weekend at least
SO BRING ON THE PICS!!

damn.. mines still on the way to the carrier :-P i just hope i get mine before end of next week that would be awesome.

Roxy, you are an exception to the rule to be sure, consider yourself lucky (because I would ). Most of them take 10-14 business days to complete from order placement to ship. At least, that seems to be the broad consensus from users on this forum.

It could also depend on how often shipments leave malaysia.. they might only ship once or twice a week in bulk. So people who order closer to shipment vs someone who order earlier and got 6 days added.
But who knows? I just know i want mine :-P

The only thing that saved me was my wife came home from work at lunch today and happened to be here when UPS knocked on the door.
Typing on it now and it is as awesome as you expect. I have a ton of homework tonight (on-line classes), but will update various things as I get a chance. With all the hullaballoo about how big it was going to be, it really isn't, and I'm coming from a unibody MBP...granted it's thicker, but design is really nice! More to come....

congrats, good thing your wife was there in time.

Especially a system with a 260gtx which is equivalent to a 9800 desktop graphics card. If you lower the resolution of said game, you will achieve higher framerates and have a better overall gaming experience. Granted, the 260 is no slouch and can run many games at full resolution, but you will probably have to turn some details off to get a smooth as silk framerate. That is what I meant by it depends on the game. Games such as WOW, City of Heroes/villians, are older and therefore can be run at full resolution. Geez, I feel like I rambled. I hope that helps Roxy. I will be more than happy to try to elaborate a bit more.
Edit: In reference to Grid, if I am not mistaken, it is taking more advantage of the quad cores (similar to GTA IV), which explains why there is great FPS on full definition.

No problem... I was hoping you would not ask for more details, because I was afraid I would ramble more and not make any sense!
