Lenovo IdeaPad U550 Now Available
Lenovo today made its IdeaPad U550 available. The U550 has a 15.6-inch LED screen with a 1366x768 resolution, Windows 7 Home Premium, and Intel Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) processors (Pentium Dual-Core/Core 2 Duo). Lenovo claims the U550 can get up to six hours of battery life with the included six-cell battery.
The U550 is available now in dark brown starting at $699.99.

I really want them to push out a nice 12'' Ultra Portable that is thin and functional, low cost, and good battery life. (Lenovo specifically)

They have introduced a version of the 13.3" U350 with a 1.3GHz SU4100 Dual-Core processor and 8-cell battery for $649....pretty darn close!
And there's an 11.6" U150 in the pipeline, at least for some markets....

The U350, U450 have been out for quite some time now.
The U150 was spotted some weeks ago, and the U550 is new.
