Acer Recalling Some Aspire Notebooks

Acer today issued a voluntary recall for some of its Aspire consumer notebooks. The affected models are listed as follows, manufactured before 15 Sept 2009.

Acer Aspire:

AS3410
AS3810T
AS3810TG
AS3810TZ
AS3810TZG

The products are being recalled because "the microphone cable may overheat when extreme pressure is applied repeatedly to the left palm rest. As a result, the units case may become deformed and the system may malfunction."
