Default Aspire 3050 upgrade Sempron to Turion x2 Tl 50

YOU WILL VERY LIKELY VOID YOUR WARRANTY BY DOING THIS!!
This is to be used only at your own risk.

1. Preparation:
a. upgrade the bios to ver. 3315
b. buy a Turion TL-50(I bought one from ebay by 18$)

c. buy the thermal compound( arctic silver 5)

d. earth yourself and draw a layout of notebook.(make sure not missing any screw)

e. watch the video carefully (almost as same sa 3050)

w. Remove the sempron from the soket carefully and replace it by Turion. Clean the core by purfier. Put some thermal compound on the core.(no to much, just cover the core) screw the black screw to the lock position. Clean the heatsink by cleaner and remove the old thermal compound.

3.Assamble
I think you can do this all by yourself. Just be careful that you connect the cooling fan's cable.

BTW, you can also upgrade the ram from 512 to 2GB
