*Reinstall Windows Vista. Its always better to start afresh. It only takes 25min - optional/recommended
*If all fails u may have to update BIOS-Firmware to S5/6 'R0103V0' ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/DOWNLOAD...0877820-UN.EXE
*Restart and press F2 when it shows VAIO Logo screen to boot into BIOS
*Tell me your BIOS version. Is it 'R0092V0'?
