Have Kaspersky Anti-virus but need a Firewall
As the titles says, I got Kaspersky Anti-virus, not Internet Security. The reason for that is because KAV was on sale for $20 at Best Buy, while KIS was still about $80. So I saved myself $60 and went for KAV.
Now I need a good firewall to supplement it. Does anyone have any good suggestions for a good firewall to use with kaspersky? Are there any other programs I should use with it? (ex: SUPERAntispyware, Spyware Doctor, etc.)
Thanks in advance.Dell XPS M1530 / Midnight Blue / WXGA+ LG LCD / T9300 / 256MB 8600M GT / 4GB RAM / 320GB 5400RPM HD

Re: Have Kaspersky Anti-virus but need a Firewall
For good, effective and free firewalls you can check either Zone Alarm and Comodo Firewall. Zone Alarm is quite user friendly and effective. Comodo is also simple to work with but has some more advanced settings for the advanced user.
For removing and protecting yourself from spyware and adware, you can use Spybot Search & Destroy and the free version Adaware. Both are free and effective, Adaware also has two professional versions for which you have to pay.

Re: Have Kaspersky Anti-virus but need a Firewall
Use comodo as your firewall. I have it and it's pretty good. I would turn off the defense + feature though. For antispyware, I would get superantispyware or a squared. I would stay away from spyware terminator. It conflicts with a lot of computers and you should already have a real time spyware program in KAV.

If you turn off Comodo's Defense+, make sure you get Threatfire. For anti-spyware I like SuperAntiSpyware, A Squared, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, with spyware blaster & winpatrol for preventative protection. Also, get another virus scanner to act as a backup. I suggest Avira with Avira Guard not installed. I would strongly suggest you stay away from Spyware Terminator.

For firewall, go for Comodo than Zone Alarm. I had bad experience with Zone Alarm before (messed up my computer), so I don't recommend it to anyone.

I think I've decided to go with Comodo. Thanks for everyone's input.
Should I keep SUPERAntispyware on my comp though?Dell XPS M1530 / Midnight Blue / WXGA+ LG LCD / T9300 / 256MB 8600M GT / 4GB RAM / 320GB 5400RPM HD

Yeah, you probably should. It's a very good anti spyware app.

I agree, get COMODO firewall and ThreatFire. Use Kaspersky updated scan from time to time depending on your browsing on the net.
