Wow. I had no idea that Online Armor was so freaking good. I viewed the its recommendation on the first page with skepticism. I'm glad I did in a way. It wouldn't have gotten me to check it out any other way. I'm definitely switching firewalls now. Here's the link that changed my mind: http://www.matousec.com/projects/win...ion-of-results

Worth baring in mind that all leak test results should be taken with a pinch of salt as they rarely represent real world experiences. Very much different to AV.

I happy to continue using Look 'n' Stop even though it scores low in those tests and is a paid product. Why?...because it works well, is the lightest around and is a good accompaniment to the protection of a router.

Online Armor failed the GRC shields up all ports test Specifically, the ping reply. I wonder if this has to do with my bit-torrent settings opening up that port.

I have all my ports closed and i still ping. it just has to do with your firewall. With zonealarm on my xp machine i used to not ping but now with vista firewall i ping.

Do any of you guys use two anti-virus programs and if so do you keep both of their active-protection systems on at once? Right now I'm using Antivir and Avast and am deciding if I only should use Antivir's or Avast's active protection, or both.

No, you're not supposed to run two AV's at the same time.

Seems to me Avast does more than Antivir.

Please explain what you think Avast does that Antivir does not.

I think he's referring to the active protection. I can't really answer anything beyond that. I don't know much about either active protection system, hence is why I asked which is better.
