I would recommend if you haven't already to do a clean windows 10 install and install only the Dell drivers/utilities you think you need.
Mine still seems to going fine (other than low battery life)

I don't think I've ever been able to buy a replacement battery for my 9550 from dell. I bought one from eBay years ago.

You've tried replacing the battery?
Do you mean presets? I thought turning on any of the maxx audio features can actually damage your speakers (on xps15 at least) so most people try...
Not mine .. mine is like a rubber trackpad .. is yours black?
Since when does a 9550 come with a glass trackpad?
Wow very cool I'm going to try this. However if I uninstall the existing drivers and reboot won't they just get installed again automatically...
If you did a clean install ... did you actually reinstall the games or just put the folders back?
Wow ok so I believe your story proves this is not meant to be a "travel" laptop
Personal preference ... 13" will be lighter but same resolution so smaller dpi .. 15" will be easier on the eyes and prob bigger battery
That's totally a software issue. See if there is an option in GeForce experience to rescan for games.
I am surprised that dell does not offer replacement batteries and we have to all resort to eBay.
I have to say I haven't had any freezing or crashing issues with my 9550 and win 10 creators update or really ever. The only difference I can see...
Also windows caches if you have extra memory so that it takes advantage of it ... so it may just look like you are using more memory but you don't...
I use this one on my xps15 and can confirm it gets gigabit speeds via iperf3: USB Network Adapter, Rankie SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to RJ45 Gigabit...
Do you have any other hard wired machine you can try? How about on wireless what do you get?
That sounds like something between your computer and the switch ... can you bypass the USB hub?
No issues with power management with the creators update?
Depends what proc/screen you have. I have the i5/1080p screen and I probably get 4-5 hours with the 56whr battery that is probably 2 years old.
